AGGRESSIVE POLICY DENIED.

In the Upper House, Baron Sakatani, asking the Premier to state the policy in North China, pointed out that Australian and Japanese relations . were much benefited from M. Arita s de-ck-ration to the former Diet, that Japan’s expansion southward was only economic, not territorial, whereby Australians were .greatlv reassured. General Hayashi replied that Japan had no intention of aggression in North China.
