YACHTING. in addition to three entries from Lyttelton, two entries have been received from the Christchurch Yacht Club (Redcliffs), for the Greymouth and Moana Regattas. They are the Cygnet (T. Turner), and Tiki (A. Penn), both of international snipe class. RIFLE SHOOTING The Grey Defence Rifle Club’s competition for the Bromley Memorial Belt resulted in a win for J. Scorgie junr„ a promising first-year shot, witli an aggregate of 402. Another first-year .shot, F. Win, was runner-up, with 398.. Jn the final shoot of the competition, S. Davy' was top-scorer with a line shoot of 98 off tlie rifle, which included a 48 at the 300 yards. His score card read: 300 yards 5455554555, total 48; 600 yards, 55445455445, total 50; grand total 98. The following were the leading scores, conditions being 10 shots at 300 yards and 11 shots at 600 yards:—
