MEETING

SALVATION ARMY. The meetings at the Salvation Army Hall on Sunday will be conducted by Major Coffin, of Wellington. The Major has the direction and oversight of all Salvation Army Bands and Songster Brigades in New Zealand'. He will be paying his initial visit to the West Coast. Prior to taking up his present appointment the Major was in charge of the Salvation Army’s work in Napier, where he had the direction of the city’s relief activities following the earthquake.
