NEW YORK, June 11

Joe Louis and Max Schmeling today had practically finished the heavy work in their training for their ten rounds bout in the Yankee Stadium on June 18, at their respective, training camps in Lakewood, New Jersey, and Napanoch, New York. Among boxing experts and observers there is little doubt that Louis will be the winner, but Schmeling is supremely confident. He claims that he is not afraid of the Negro, whereas he says that the last half-dozen fighters whom Louis knocked out have been defeated before they entered the ring. -
