[PBB PBXSa. ASSOCIATION.] NATIONAL ART GALLERY. WELLINGTON, May 28. Portraits in oils of Sir Truby King and the late Sir Francis Bell, were handed over by representatives of the subscribers of the pictures to the Prime Minister, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, at a representative gathering in the Art Gallery section of the Dominion Museum and National Art Gallery, to-day. Judge Ostler handed over the picture of Sir F. Bell to Mr. Cheviot Bell, who, in turn, presented it -to the gallery. Judge Blair acted on behalf of the Karitane Products Society, Ltd., in handing over the portrait of Sir Truby King. Mr. Savage paid a tribute to the work done in connection with the Art Gallery by Mr. G. A. Troup, and those associated with him, and referred to the illustrous achievements of the two great men whom the pictures commemorate.
