The annual St. Patrick’s Day procession was 4?eld this afternoon, proceeding from St. Columba Hall, via Chapel and Tainui Streets, Mawhera Quay, and Boundary Streets to Victoria Park, where the annual sports gathering is being held in showery weather. The procession was headed by the Greymouth Civic Band, and included five tableaux, decorated cars and bicycles, a large number of Hibernians and the pupils of the Marist Brothers’ and Convent Schools, with their teachers. The house colours were prominently displayed among the r.upils, and several of the decorated bicycles also represented the school houses.
