The Ontario Government, after ousting “hot dog” concessionaries from an area whence they have been wafting meatly odours'even into the Canadian Quintuplets’ Hospital, has 'expropriated portions of two farms to make a park for visitors, and a play-ground for the children, with a fence covered with a substance devised by a professor, which will enable outsiders to see, but will not be opaque from the inside. Papa Didnne protests against the seizure. ENGLISH QUADS. (Recd. February 12, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 11. A five years’ contract was signed on behajf of the Miles quadruplets for regular screening in the Gaumont British News. The mother declares that she is only too glad to give films of these little darlings to adding: “I seemed to feel when I sat in the cinema and saw the first news-reel that every woman in the adience shared my joy.” Two double and one four-in-hand perambulators are being constructed for use of the quadruplets. A wealthy contractor may provide a special house for them containing all-glass nurseries, ensuring health-giving sunlight.
