WEDDING
' STEVENS—STENT, • The wedding was solemnised at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Greymouth. last evening, of Agnes Bertha, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. E. Stent, of Blaketown, and Victor- Densham, youngest son of Mr and Sirs Stevens, Ferngrove, Riverton. Rev. H. R. Fell performed the ceremony. Mrs J. Bruerton presided at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a model frock of white charmeuse, cut with a slim-fit-ting bodice, and falling in graceful folds to the ankles. Her veil of handembroidered tulle, was hel(l in place with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of pink and white gladioli, Lily of the Valley and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her cousin. Miss Mabel Stent, of Palmerston, Otago, who wore a frock of Marina blue suede crepe, cut on classical lines, with shoes to tone. She wore a coronet of lemon flowers, and carried a bouquet of lemon and blue flowers to tone. The bride’s younger sister, Pearl, attended as flowei' girl, in a frock of pink Swiss muslin, with head band to tone. Mr H. Haigh, of Reefton, was best man.
A reception was held at Harker’s, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, wearing a brown frock of crepe alma, relieved with shell pink and with hat and shoes to tone, and carrying a bouquet of red roses and autumn tinted leaves. The bride and bridegroom left by car, the bride wearing a smart brown tailored costume with hat and shoes to match.
