NOW FUNERAL DIRECTORS. In future British undertakers are to bo known as "State-registered funeral directors.’’ Mr. B. Pepperdine, announcing this at the annual conference of the British Undertakers’ Association, at Southend, recently, said the conferenco had decided that trade unionism as applied to their organisation was wrong, and the new executive would arrange for the presentation of a bill in Parliament for the registration of funeral directors.
