J. A. Hanan. . A.n engineering travelling scholar ship, tenable for one year was awarded to C. R. Newton-King, ot Canterbury University College. DEGREES CONFERRED. WELLINGTON, May 24. At a meeting of the executive of the Senate of the University ot New Zealand, the following degrees weie conferred: — , Doctor of Science: Lyndon Bastings (University of Otago). Bachelor of Arts: Norman Bancks (Victoria University College), Arthur John David Barker (Victoria University College), Ngarita Inez Gordon (University of Otago). Bachelor of Forestry Science:
