Mr F. Gilmore is an inmate of the Grey Hospital.

A London cablegram announced the death of Lord Hunsdon, banker. He was born in 1854.

Mrs J. Souter, who has been visiting Greymouth, left to-day, on her return to Mosgiel.

Miss R. Hughes returned to Christchurch by to-day’s express, after a holiday visit to Greymouth and South Westland.

Miss O. Flewellen, who has been on a holiday visit to the West Coast, returned to Christchurch by to-day's express.

A cablegram from Perth (W.A.) announced the death of the Right Rev. Doctor Clune, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Perth.

Mrs S. Campbell, who has been, visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Coburn, left by to-day’s express, on her return to Wellington.

A Gore telegram announced the death of Mr. Alexander Christie of Waikia. He was born in 1845, and was a well-known runholder and pioneer. Deceased landed in the Dominion' in 1856.
