PRINCESS ONYX FOR SYDNEY. E. N. Kennerley reports that he leaves for Wellington en route to Australia with Princess Onyx to-mor-row evening to compete in the New South Wales Trotting Derby to be decided at Epping, Sydney, on April 29. Princess Onyx looks exceptionally well at the moment and although she has not done as well as has been expected when raced against older horses, there is no doubt, that she is outstanding for her qge, and she should more than hold her own against trotters of her own age, especially in a small field. At ’this stage, it is not considered that Princess Onyx will start in any race other than the Trotting Derby, but Kennerley may be in Australia for some time, having been engaged to do the driving .for a large stable in Sydney.
