AMSTERDAM, December 29. The Flying Hotel was insured approximately for £35,000, with a London company. BRITAIN’S DEFENCE. LONDON, December 29. The “Daily Telegraph” says that a scheme is being prepared to turn a large part of the Territorial force into anti-aircraft divisions. It is considered that forty thousand officers and men may be necessary to provide an adequate network of air defence. Regulars are too costly.
