SERVICE OF MUSIC. Tho special choral service and organ recital, held last evening, in St. John’s Presbyterian Church, was attended by a large congregation. Bass and soprano solos with chorus: “My Soul doth magnify the Lord” (Simper), Mr A. Stent and Mrs Fell. Chorus and bass solo: “Good Tidings of Great Joy*’ j(Simper), Mr T. Tennent. Tenor and baritone solos: “Arise, Shine! Thy Light is come” (Simper), Mr H. E. Anderson and Mr A. Airns. “Celtic Pastorale” (Lindsay). Solo: “Nazareth” (Gounod), Mr G Stewart.
