Records were broken at the Anae range in, the first stage of the King’s Prize, when three competitors, H. Berman, A. Brain, and F. Agate, all of Sydney, scored treble possibles in the Prince of Wales, seven shots at 300, 500, and 600 yards, and they consequently share the leading position in the King’s Prize with 105. Farley, who was 14th, 103, won two pounds; Gower. I.7th, 102, two pounds; Soler, 37th., 101, one pound; Masefield, 111th., 99, one pound: H. Pickering, 149th., 99, one pound; C. Pickering, 193rd., 98, one pound. New Zealand defeated Concord A and B teams in a seven-a-side match, (all to count), seven shots each at 300, 500, and 600 yards. The New Zealand scores were: Farley 35/35/33, Gower 33/34/35, Soler 33/34/34, Masefield 32/34/33, H.. Pickering 35/32/32, C. Pickering 33/33/32, Me Ivor 34/34/29, total 699. The Concord B team scored 688, and.the A team 686. S. AUSTRALIAN “KING’S.” ADELAIDE,, October 11. D. C. Hancock, a young rifleman, wbn the King’s Prize with 339, by four points, from H. Case, C. Mutton, and E. Foster.
