LEAGUE FOOTBALL

TO-MORROW'S MATCHES. Prospects of an. interesting and fast game of League football, are bright for to-morrow, when Marist, holders of the Challenge Cup, will defend it against Pirates, in the senior grade. Both teams will be at full ’strength, and with the grounds in splendid order, the play should merit the attendance, which is sure to be large, as keen interest is being taken in the fixture. A second game will also be played at Wingham Park, that between Ngahere and Marist juniors. These teams hand out attractive football. At Taylorville , the Brunner juniors will meet Runanga, and Brunner and Marist fourth graders provide the early fixture, on the Taylorville grounds. Ngahere v. Marist at Wingham Park on Sunday:—N.
