WESTPORT WOMAN INJURED. [PKB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 6. Knocked down by a motor car as they attempted to cross Madras Street, last evening, two women and a four-year-old boy received injuries that necessitated their removal to the hospital. Mrs Turner, of Dormer Street, has head injuries. Mrs Berry, of Westport, is suffering from abrasions, bruises and shock, and her four-year-old son Desmond Berry, was discharged after treatment for abrasions and shock. The motorist evidently misunderstood the intention of the pedestrians as he ran into the group near the corner. All fell heavily to the ground. Ihe women to-day are progressing satisfactorily. ■, ■
