Kalingo, Sydney, early. Alexander, Miramar, early. SHIPPING NOTES. The Kanna sailed last night, for Wellington and Miramar. The John sailed this morning, for New Plymouth and Onehunga. The Kartigi sails to-morrow morning for Melbourne and Adelaide with timber. The Kaimai leaves Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth, to load for return. The Kiwitea is due to-night from Auckland and Wellington with cargo. She will load for Auckland, via Westport. The Kalingo is due on Friday to load timber for Sydney and Brisbane. The Omana is due about the weekend to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The Poolta is due to-night from Port Ahuriri to load for New Plymouth, via Westport and Wellington. The Alexander which left on Monday for Napier, is due back latei’ in the week, to load for Miramar and Petone. The Titoki leaves Wellington to-day, for Westport and Greymouth. She is due on Friday, to load coal for Tarakohe and Wanganui.
OTHER PORTS. SYDNEY, September 5. Sailed from Newcastle, Kaimiro for New Zealand. AUCKLAND, September; 5.Arrived: Koyo Maru, 'from Japan. WAITAKI DELAYED. DUNEDIN, September 4. Owing to trouble with the crew the Union Company’s steamer, Waitaki, which arrived at Dunedin this morning from Melbourne, was unable to sail this evening for Lyttelton and Wellington. It is expected that the dispute will be adjusted to-morrow morning, and that the Waitaki will sail at mid-day.
