Judging at the Wellington Competitions concluded to-night, and the festival will close to-morrow with a demonstration concert. Championship winners are: Piano: Frank Blackman, Wellington. Dancing: Miss Marjorie Penman, Wellington. Vocal, ladies: Kathleen Sawyer, Te Horo. Doreen Hunt, Wairoa, equal. Men: K. Macauley, Wellington. Elocution: Richard Burgess, Lower Hutt. Junior, boys: J. McCarthy, Napier. No awards in ladies’, men’s or junior girls’ championship.
