RIFLE-SHOOTING
GREY MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The first shoot for the fifth competition was fired off on the Club’s range last evening. S. Sharman and R. Wills tied for the Holty Button, with a possible each, and the shoot off resulted in a win for S. Sharman, with another possible, while R. Wills scored 68. The following were the leading scores.—
The shoot for the Vice President’s (W. Hamilton) trophy, between S. ' Sharman, J. Efford, J. Knight, and A. ( Rawlins, will take place next Tues- J day. S. BRUNNER V. GREY. The Brunnerton Defence Rifle Club were the guests of the Club at a shoot and card evening. The visitors enjoyed th* shooting. Several of them shot -well for the first time.
