General inference: The anti-cyclone which has controlled the weather over the Dominion during the past three day is now centred just east of the North Island, and is moving slowly eastward, while a depression is advancing across the South Tasman Sea. The weather, therefore, will gradually become unsettled. Forecast: Moderate to fresh and increasing north to north-west winds. Weather becoming cloudy to overcast, and rain developing. Temperatures mild. Seas moderate, but rising.
