A DESIRABLE REFORM. [per press association.] WELLINGTON, August 29. An undertaking to ask all Magistrates to exclude from the courts persons not connected with the proceedings when domestic cases are being held, was given by Mr. Cobbe (Minister of Justice) to-day, replying to a I National Council of Women deputa--1 (ion, which asked for greater privacy |in such cases. • The deputation did not seek the ex- | elusion of the Press, lawyers, friends of the parties, or recognised workers, but only the idle public.
