TWO MEN PLEAD GUILTY. fPEII I’RESB ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, May 17. As a sequel to the robbery al Bowsers Ltd. Service Station, on the morning of May 10. when the attendant. Herbert Quinlan, was wounded through being hit, on the head with at baton, Herbert 'Woodham and Thomas Benjamin Haymond, two young men were charged with robbing Quinlan of 24 packets of cigarettes, a pair of pliers, postage stamps valued at 2/6, and G/- in silver, and immediately before the robbery did wound Quinlan. Both pleaded guilty, and were committed to the Wanganui Supreme Court for sentence to-morrow.
