The Marlborough Power Board, by six votes to one, decided to-day to restore (he whole of (he ten per cent, cut imposed on wages and salaries in 1931. CIICH. DRAINAGE BOARD. CHRISTCHURCH, May 15. The Christchurch Drainage Board to-night decided to restore in part the cuts made in salaries and wages by increasing all salaries and wages paid to the regular staff by live per cent. The extra cost to the whole of the drainage district, will be £BOO annually.
