Continental buyers were the chief operators. About 40 per cent. sold. Compared with March 22, prices were cheaper, Australian merino combings by 7i, fine crossbreds 10 per cent, lower, New Zealand fine crossbreds, when sold, five; medium and low, 10 per cent. down.

Au official statement from the New Zealand Woolbrokers’ Association shows that from July 1, 1933, to the last sale on April 27, 1934, a total of 676,550 bales was offered, of which 633,553 were sold.
