GREY DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The first competition for (Patron E. R. Moss’) trophies was concluded on Saturday. Riflm. S. Davey shot well to secure top score with a grand total of 101. The following are the leading scores (conditions, 10 shots at 300 yards and 11 shots at 500 yards): —

As the result of the above shoot, the handicap championship has taken a change. Rifllm. S. Davey with his 101, has come from third position to lead with a total of 1141. Riflm. W. Garth is now in second position with a total of 1137, while Riflm. C. Richardson with 1136 and M. Garth 1135 are next.
