RUGBY, March 17.

The British tanker Inverarder yesterday landed at Queenstown, five survivors of the Belgian steamer Oscar Edu. The captain and six other members of the crew were drowned within eight of rescue. The Oscar Edu sank on Thursday morning, and men took to the boats in heavy seas. They burned their last flares and attracted the attention ot the Inverarder before dawn yesterday morning, and two ladders were dropped.over the tankers side. But at this point, a small boat capsized, throwing all the occupants into, the water. Ropes were lowered, but only five men were saved, the. others being swept away in huge waves.
