O PERA 11 OU SE—T O -NIG HT. “Hell Below,” one of the outstanding photoplays of the year, will be screened to-night, Saturday’s matinee and evening, following its successful long run in the city theatres. Critics concede “Hell Below” to be the most thrilling marine drama yet to reach the, screen, depicting the plight of a submarine at the bottom of the sea with its engines dead and its _ crew apparently doomed, and the battles between the undersea craft and four destroyers who attempt to destroy the submarine with depth bombs. Underlying the adventures is the tragic romance of a young lieutenant in love with the daughter of his commander already married to a crippled aviator. The emotional conflict is lightened by the antics of the inimitable Jimmy Durante. Robert Montgomery heads the cast of the production. BLACKBALL—TO-NIGHT. “Sailor’s Luck" will bo screened at Blackball to-night. WALLSEND—TO-NIGHT. “Cavalcade” the greatest picture of all time, will be screened at Wallsend to-night.
