The Queensland Tennis Championships had additional interest this year as a result of the appearance of the Davis Cup players Crawford, Quist, and McGrath. Results were: — ' Men’s Singles, quarter-finals: Crawford defeated C. B. Moon 6/2, 6/2, 6/0; Quist beat Grinstead 6/1, 6/1, 6/1; Goodwin beat Cummings 6/2, 6/4, 13/11; E. F. Moon beat Poultney 6/0, 6/1, 6/3. Women’s Singles, semi-finals: Mrs. Crawford beat Miss Moon 6/4, 6/2; Mrs. Molesworth" beat Mrs. Westacott 1/6, 8/6, 6/3. Men’s Doubles, quarter-finals: Goodwin and Grinstead beat Hood and Cranfield 6/3, 6/1, 7/5. Semi finals: Crawford and Moon beat Goodwin and Grinstead 6/4, 6/4, 6/2. Crawford and Moon meet McGrath and Quist in the doubles final to-morrow. PERRY’S HAND INJURED. (Received December 9, 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 8. The second tennis test at Brisbane has been postponed for a week, owing to an injury to Perry’s hand, sustained when he fell during an exhibition match at Dubbo, on Wednesday.
