Moon beat Poultney 6/0, 6/1, 6/3. Women’s Singles, semi-finals: Mrs. Crawford beat Miss Moon 6/4, 6/2; Mrs. Molesworth" beat Mrs. Westacott 1/6, 8/6, 6/3. Men’s Doubles, quarter-finals: Goodwin and Grinstead beat Hood and Cranfield 6/3, 6/1, 7/5. Semi finals: Crawford and Moon beat Goodwin and Grinstead 6/4, 6/4, 6/2. The second tennis test at Brisbane has been postponed for a week, owing to an injury to Perry’s hand, sustained when he fell during an exhibition match at Dubbo, on Wednesday.
