CONSPIRATORS CONDEMNED. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Received August 15, 10 a.m.) CALCUTTA, August 14. Surjya Sen and Tarakeskwar Dastidar were sentenced to death at Chittagong, arising out of the notorious armoury raid and murders. Miss Kalpana Dutt was sentenced to life transportation, which means imprisonment outside Bengal. Surjya, was regarded as the master mind of the Chittagong conspiracy and the leader of the revolutionaries. FRONTIER FIGHTING. [BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] RUGBY, August 14. The Peshawar column of British troops, which was sent to aid the Halimzai tribesmen, who were attacked on Saturday morning by a Baizai group of Upper Mohmands, made contact with the enemy late on Saturday, and compelled them to withdraw. The enemy casualties are not yet. known. One British Indian Sepoy was wounded.
