LEAGUE FOOTBALL

TO-MORROW’S MATCHES The match between Blackball and Marist seniors, at Wingham Park tomorrow, should provide plenty of excitement, as both teams are wellmatched, and the game will probably be fought out at a hard pace. The playing field will be heavy, conditions which will favour the solid Blackball pack. Marist backs are smart enough to make the best of opportunities, however, and their speed and handling should enable them to fittingly wind-up their attack. Whatever the conditions, the match should be well worth witnessing. Runanga meet Pirates at Dunollie, and this also promises to be a well-contested game. Lower grade matches will be decided at Wingham Park, and at Dunollie.
