WHEAT IN ITALY. [BY CABLE —PBESB ASSN. —COPYEIGHT.] ROME, June 29. A decree has heen issued which ordains that only one per cent, of foreign wheat shall be permitted to be milled’ in Italy after July 17. ELLSWORTH EXPEDITION. NEW YORK, June 28. Mr Ellsworth to-day announced that he has changed his expedition plans. He will now go directly to New Zealand, instead of going to Norway. He expects to sail from San Francisco on July 14. He will be accompanied by his wife. They will spend half a week at Honolulu. Thence they are going to Auckland. He is leaving early so. as to allow time for mountain-climbing in Southern Switzerland. DISARMAMENT CONFERENCE. G- -v A, June 29. The Disarmament Conference adjourned until October 16, only Germany opposing. U.S.A. WHEAT. WASHINGTON, .June 29. In an official statement, it was said that the United States crops of wheat, this year, “now appears to be less than domestic needs, but because of the carry-over of old wheat, the supplies for the 1933-34 season, including the carry-over and the new crop, will probably provide a surplus for export.”
