Hampshire, first, 337 (Arnold 75); second 211 (O’Connor 4 for 32). Essex, first, 274 (Eastman 93, Boyes 6 for 91); second 6 for 277 (O’Connor 115). Essex won by four wickets. Yorkshire, first 6 for 591 (Sutcliffe 205, Barber 12'4, Verity, not out 78, Leyland 76). Warwick, firs L-319 (Kilner, not out 197), followed on, 4 for 127. Yorkshire won on the first innings. Leicester, first 276 (Armstrong 77, Geary 81, Brown 6 for 63); second 6 for 311 (Berry 115). Surrey, first 7 for 464 (Barling 128, Squires not out, 150). Surrey won on, the first innings.
