There was no doubt, that Rugby football was New Zealand’s national game,, said Mr F. Campbell when speaking on Soccer in schools at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Football Association. Mr Campbell said that he enjoyed both Rugby and Soccer—both were good games. But there was room for both in the schools. Some boys were temperamentally and constitutionally suited to Soccer, and some were so suited to Rugby. Many boys wanted to play Soccer, and all that was wanted was the code to get a “fair go.”
