WIMBLEDON PROFITS. [BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYEIGHT.] LONDON, March 31. The nett profits for 1932 at Wimbledon were £36,926, of which the Lawn Tennis Association received £12,700. LEAGUE “INTERNATIONAL.” LONDON, March 31. The match between the Rugby League teams representing England and “Other Nationalities,” played at. Workington, was exciting. The final scores were: England 34, Other Nationalities 27. Playing for Other Nationalities were the Australians, Harris, Moores, Shankland, Busch, and Armbruster; also the New Zealanders, Hardgrave .and Mason. The team played under the captaincy of the Welshman, Sullivan. For the losers, Harris scored two tries, while Armbruster and Busch scored one each. Sullivan kicked six goals.
TRIBUTE TO AUSTRALIAN. LONDON, March 31. Eric Harris, the Leeds winger, is returning to Australia in July, and it is improbable that he will play in England again. The Yorkshire newspapers, regretting his departure, pay a tribute to Harris as one of the finest scoring wingers in the game’s history. CRICKET. Marist v.
