CRUELTY TO BOY
RED-HOT BORER UN FINGERS
Said to have put a red-hot. poker on the fingers of a. nine-year-old boy. David Armstrong, with whose care she had been entrusted, Olga Skein, 23. of Berkeley-road, Hillingdon, was. at Uxbridge recently, sent to prison for three months for neglecting and illtreating him.
For the prosecution it. was stated that; Skein was engaged as housekeeper by the boy’s father while he was at work in Liverpool. Th boy was found by a police officer lying on a footpath at Hillington in a. state of collapse. He was in a very emaciated condition. \\ lu-n given food he ate raven ously. The boy's lingers were blister•d, and there were marks resembling burns on his body.
