CROQUET
AVEST COAST TOURNAMENT
The annual tournament of the West Coast Croquet Assn, will be held on the Makura Croquet Club’s lawns, commencing on Monday, and continuing until Thursday. Players from Westport, Reefton, Runanga, Greymouth, Hokitika and Wellington will take part, and the matches should be interesting,
Silver Button Competition.—The finalists from each club in A., B. and C. Section, will play off for the Silver Buttons presented each year by the New Zealand Croquet Council. A trophy for championship play has also beeen presented by the New Zealand Council, for which there will be keen competition. Given fine weather, the tournament should prove instructive and enjoyable. The draw for championship singles, championship doubles and silver button competition is as follows: —
