DEPTH OF THE BAR The depth of the bar and river at high water yesterday was:—Bar, 22ft. lin.; river, 22ft lin. ARRIVED Nil. SAILED Nil. IN PORT Komata. EXPECTED ARRIVALS Rata, Wellington, to-morrow. Kaimiro, Auckland, Monday. PROJECTED DEPARTURES Rata, Westport, to-morrow. Komata, Miramar and Wellington, tomorrow. OTHER PORTS. WELLINGTON, October 28. Arived at 11.45 a.m., Gael, from Hokitika. SHIPPING NOTES The Komata is‘scheduled to sail tomorrow morning for Miramar and Wellington. The Rata is due to-morrow morning from Wellington, via Westport, with general cargo. After discharge she will load coal, completing at Westport, for Wanganui. Tho Kaimiro is due on Monday from Auckland, via Westport, with cargo. The Opihi left Dunedin yesterday with general cargo, via ports. Captain W. H. D. Gardner, of the Komata, has exchanged commands with Captain J. Bruce, of the Kanna. Mr M. R. Treguale has joined the Karetu as chief officer relieving Mr FI. A. Brockett for further instructions. Mr W. Murray has relieved Mr A. C. Lockyer as third engineer of the Gabriella.
