SHIPPING NOTES The Rata is scheduled to leave Wellington to-morrow with general, cargo for Westport and Greymouth. She is due on Thursday. Tho Kiwitea'sailed at noon to-day with coal and timber for Wellington and Auckland. She is due to return on Friday to load timbei; for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Kanna sailed this afternoon with timber for Sydney. Tho Kartigi sailed - this afternoon with coal for Auckland* via Westport. The Kaimai is due on Friday from Westport to complete loading coal and timber for Wellington.

The Kalingo loads general cargo at Melbourne on September 26, for New Plymouth, Auckland, Napier and Greymouth.

The Huanui is due at the end of the week from Foxton, via Wellington, to load coal for return to Foxton.
