SOLICITOR ACCUSED

A CHARGE OF THEFT. [PEB PEESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, July 8. Charles Stewart Leahy, 44, solicitor, was arrested this morning, and appeared at the Police Court charged with having ’ received £29 5/-, and fraudulently omitting to account for it, thereby committing theft. By consent, accused was remanded to appear on July 18. Counsel said he was instructed that accused had a complete answer to the charge. Bail was allowed.
