SCOTSMAN'S FEMALE ATTIRE
FREE RIDE FROM AfefiRDEEN, A young Scotsman, John Wilson, who appeared dressed as a woman In Willesden Police-court recently, described how he travelled free from Aberdeen to London. He was charged with being a suspected person and remanded for inquiries. A police officer said that Wilson wore the complete garb of a woman. In his vanity bag were lip-stick and a powder-puff. Accused’s expjanatio hwas that he came from Aberdeen to take up a job in Loiiddh. The idea occurred to him that if he dressed as a woman, lorry drivers would readily give him lifts, lie, therefore, borrowed the clothes, “made himself up,” and got to London for nothlhg.
