Douglas Barrington Kent, aged. 58, solicitor, of Waipukurau, was sentenced to reformative treatment not exceeding three years, for fraudulently omitting to account for trust moneys over £BOO. KILLED BY CAR. WELLINGTON, June 25. The death occurred at the hospital this morning, of Mrs Annie Peterson, 45, charwoman at Government BuildnWhile proceeding to work early on Wednesday morning, she was knocked down by a motor cap outside the wharf gates, and received severe head injuries and concussion.
