Another twenty-four hours have passed, with the Lindbergh child still not found. , f Officials conducting the hunt declare that they are mailing “progress,” but no specific iri’formation of any kind is available. A Trenton message states that the New Jersey State police have not completely eliminated Betty Gow, the nursemaid, from further consideration in their investigation. A Hopewell report states that two notes, which Colonel Lindbergh received on Sunday, are said to have contained the information that when the kidnappers considered the time ■ proper and safe, they would let him know how he can communicate with them. ' . , A , The long wait and uncertainty is beginning to tell on Mrs Lindbergh. WORTHLESS RUMOURS (Rec. March 11, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 10. A Hopewell (New Jersey) message states that rumours flew thick and fast in connection with the kidnapping case to-day, but all were found to be worthless.
