Many people in Ireland fear that serious trouble is imminent, owing to the Republicans’ election success, tending to incite them to determined efforts to secure the inclusion of Northern Ireland in a completely all-Ireland Republic. POLITICAL PRISONERS. LONDON, March 10. The “Daily Mail’s” Dublin correspondent f says that Mr Geoghegan (Minister of Justice), and Mr Aitken (Minister of Defence), visited the Arbour Hill Prison, and ordered that all political prisoners should be .permitted to wear their own clothes. ft is expected that they will be released to-day. According to the “News-Chronicles correspondent, the order is expected to be Issued to-day for the suspension of the Public Safety Act. RELEASE EFFECTED. \ LONDON, March 10. Twenty political offenders, who were sentenced by the Free State military tribunal, have been released. They were acclaimed as they were driven from the prisons. It is expected that the Tribunal Act will be scrapped shortly. Legislation abolishing the oath may be introduced in the Dail, before the Holy Week adjournment.
