GREYMOUTH SITTING. The following business has been set down for the quarterly sitting of the Supreme Court at Greymouth which is to commence on February 24. On this occasion, Westport and Hokitika cases will also be dealt with at Greymouth, owing to the discontinuance of the Supreme Court sittings in those towns. The list is as follows: — . Criminal: —For sentence: Albert Amos Rouse, theft as a servant, £651 5/7; Frederick Edward Theobald, theft, £165 9/10; Robert Philp, theft, £225 5/3. Civil: Francis George Cooper v. Texas Co. (Australasia) Ltd., claim for £1167 5/- damages (This case will be settled out of Court). In divorce: Arthur Woodhouse v. Lois Stevenson Woodhouse, dissolution, on ground of desertion. James Harold Holmes v. Muriel Hilda Holmes, dissolution. on ground of desertion. In Bankruptcy: Edward Smith, motion for discharge. Fred Hall, motion for discharge.
Miscellaneous: Two motions for relief against immediate enforcement of mortgages, under Mortgagors’ Relief Act, 1931.
Under Family Protection Act, 1908, in the estate of G. D. Edgar, deceased, originating summons, claim by daughter for maintenance and support out of estate.
In the estate of James Park, deceased, originating summons, claim by children for share of estate.
