BURNT TO DEATH
SPARK IN WOMAN’S DRESS. [PEB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N„ November 15. The death occurred at hospital this morning of Mrs Sarah Prior, of Oroua Downs, aged 59. The deceased was preparing breakfast- on Saturday morning, when a spark must have lodged in her dress. When she went outside, it broke into flames. Her husband came to her rescue, extinguishing the flames. Medical aid was sought, and the sufferer was taken to the hospital, but she failed to rally.
