Miss D. Webster left to-day for Christchurch.

Mr and Mrs M. Swift left to-day on a visit to Wellington.

Mr A. Henry left to-day on a visit to Wellington.

Messrs J. Rothwell and C. Rugg left to-day for Hornby.

Mr and Mrs W. D. Panckhurst were to-day, to Christchurch.

Mr F. Hevldt and Miss D. Hevldt of Ross, left to-day for Christchurch.

Archdeacon J. A. Jermyn has been appointed West Coast Commissioner to the Boy Scouts movement.

The Right Rev., G. Budd is visiting Greymouth and is staying at St. John’s Manse. Mr Budd in his student days was a Home Missionary at Ross. He is now Superintendent of Home Missions for the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, and in 1929 was Moderator of the General Assembly.
