DEMPSTER & BLUNT CENTURIES ANOTHER DRAWN GAME (Special to Press Association.) SCARBOROUGH, September 11.. As the result of excellent centuries by Dempster and Blunt, the New Zealand cricketers made a fine recovery and when the second innings closed, were 164 ahead. Their opponents batted for fortyfive minutes, scoring sixty-one for three wickets.

New Zealand’s display was a fitting performance for the final firstclass match of the tour. They bat-ted-in true festival spirit, especially Dempster, who attacked the bowling from the start, scoring delightful shots in front of the wicket. Several chances failed to mar his innings of 135 minutes. He hit four sixes, thirteen fours.

Blunt was content to play second fiddle to Dempster at the start, but after the latter’s dismissal took the initiative and scored'. with ease and freedom, employing, a wide range of scoring shots. His innings lasted 214 minutes. He hit two sixes and eleven fours. Both batsmen sacrificed, their wickets. ( Talbot batted steadily and continued to show improved defence.
