The defence w’ill occupy the whole of next week. The legal costs are estimated at £450 per day. SERIOUS FIRE-LOSSES. SYDNEY, August 4. A third large fire at Kyogle within 12 months occurred early this morning. The local School of Arts, picture theatre, and three shops and the contents were burnt. The damage is estimated at £lO,OOO.
