RAINFALL AT GREYMOUTH. During February, 15.70 inches of rain were recorded at Greymouth on 11 days, with a maximum for any one day of 12.50 inches on Sunday, February 22. In February of last year only 3.30 inches were recorded on seven days, the maximum for any one day being 1.70 inches on February 23. SHIPPING. The returns of shipping for February, 1931, are as follow: — Vessels inward 18, with an aggregate tonnage of 10,947 tons. Vessels outward, 19, with an aggregate tonnage of 12,277 tons.
